Dreams Bahia Mita Surf & Spa Resort

This pace was great! The friendly staff, variety of food, huge rooms, pools, & huge resort were all fantastic! Something for everyone in the family to eat. I loved hitting up the 24-hr Coco Cafe for my coffee everyday and my husband and kids had ice cream a couple times a day. Would definitely stay there again for the same price point I found! Not deal-breakers because I would definitely stay there again, but the only cons I can think of are: -Beds were just okay. Not the most comfortable and sunk in the middle. Covers too warm for climate. -The rooms seem to be well-soundproofed from neighbours, but the indoor hallways echo horribly through the door. I would get woken up hourly by loud guests talking and yelling passing our door. -Beach is a little rocky. It was still beautiful for walks and spotting sea creatures with my kids. Luckily, we are more pool-goers anyways.

Spent 4 night here. Good service from Patricia who did a great job in our room. Luis the bartender at the buffet, Omar at the pool and shout to to Nataley for helping w our reservation at Tepenaki. More shout outs deserved these few came to mind! Long walks all over is the only downside, no easy short cuts to get to the beach. Lucky we were 6th floor of dreams so easy access to the water park area. Didn't get a chance to visit Italian but hear great things and 1st service was slow in the Mexican restaurant. Overall we had a great vacation. 1 hour out of town so once on premises you are there. Oh and Gio bell hop was friendly and amazing. Called our room proactively on last morning to grab our bags and hold em until transport arrived.

Amazing experience. Staff is incredibly helpful, always smiling and super friendly. Beautiful resort, always spotless. Somewhat confusing as to what you can and can’t do if you are dreams or secrets. But just talk to staff, seems that 90% of it is included. A couple private bars and I believe one restaurant you have to be secrets to go to. Endless food and drinks, gorgeous views, free paddle boarding, boogie boards, and all kinds of fun. EXPLORE the resort! It has way more than you think. Even on the last day we discovered new restaurants. the online map doesn’t show all the restaurants or activities available. There’s a board down by the main pools that has an itinerary for what evening activities there are each night. So much fun to be had here. They deserve ten stars!

We cannot say enough incredible things about Dreams Bahia Mita Surf & Spa Resort and Secrets Bahia Mita Surf & Spa Resort. From start to finish, they truly brought our dream wedding to life. With everything that happened leading up to our big day, including multiple cancellations and unexpected changes, we were overwhelmed and unsure how it would all come together. But the team at Bahia Mita stepped in and went above and beyond in every possible way. When we had to rearrange our wedding the night before, they handled it with calm professionalism and genuine care. Not once did we feel like a burden. Instead, we felt supported, celebrated, and completely taken care of. A very special thank you to our incredible wedding coordinator, Nicte. She was absolutely amazing. Her organization, reassurance, and attention to every little detail made all the difference. No matter what challenge came up, she handled it flawlessly and ensured our vision came to life even better than we imagined. We truly could not have done this without her. The staff was absolutely incredible. Every single employee we encountered was kind, accommodating, and sincerely invested in making our experience unforgettable. We were especially lucky to have the most incredible butler, Roussie, who went above and beyond for our guests and us. From the smallest requests to the most important moments, she was attentive, thoughtful, and always one step ahead. She made us feel so cared for throughout our stay. We also have to talk about the food it was phenomenal. The quality was outstanding, and the variety was impressive. There were so many options for our guests to enjoy, and everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. It truly elevated the entire wedding weekend experience. We also want to share that Puerto Vallarta is back up and running beautifully. Throughout our stay, we felt completely safe and secure. The resort operates with professionalism and attention to guest comfort, allowing us and our guests to relax and fully enjoy every moment. Our wedding turned out more magical than we ever imagined. The setting was stunning, the service was flawless, and the entire experience exceeded every expectation. We are beyond grateful and so incredibly happy with how everything turned out. No words can truly express how amazing it all was. If you are considering hosting your wedding or staying at Bahia Mita, do it. They will take care of you like family and create memories that will last a lifetime.

We stayed at Dreams Bahia Mita for 4 nights (adults only trip — no kids) and had such a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful, the rooms were great, and there are so many different pools and areas to enjoy that it never felt repetitive. One of my favorite parts was discovering quiet little nooks around the resort to relax — it’s easy to find peaceful spots even when the resort is busy. Also, the beach is much larger than the photos show, which was a really nice surprise. A huge highlight for us was having daily access to the Secrets adults-only section — it was so worth it. We spent a lot of time there and especially loved the quiet pools. Pros: • The staff is truly amazing — warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. • Special shoutout to Ismael (Preferred Lounge on the 2nd floor) and Stephanie at Olio — both made our stay extra special. • Best food: Himitsu was our favorite meal on the property. • The resort involves a lot of walking, but we actually enjoyed it — it helped balance out all the great food and lounging. • The spa is incredible — highly recommend the hydro circuit and relaxing by the rain waterfall afterward. Cons: The only downside for us was the cocktails. Most were very sweet and didn’t taste like they had much alcohol. We kept wishing there was a true cocktail lounge with more elevated drinks (not even one place had bitters!). Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and will 100% be back — next time we plan to come with our kids because it seems like an amazing resort for families too.

Overall an incredible experience! Consierge staff were amazing. Maria, Diego and Tomas went above and beyond to make our trip extra special. Cant wait to go back! Review: Negatives (very minor) -very spread out resort so some long walks to room to beach but our kids were old enough wasn't a problem (could see younger needing stroller for sure). -Concrete hallways can be very loud. Our room was on the same floor as restaurants/entrance to water park/pools. So pretty loud after kids down. Hotel offered to move us after the first night though if it continued to be loud, and it got much better after that first loud night. -bit of a rocky beach but not enough of a problem to not enjoy it! Positives: literally everything else! -three water park areas from toddler splash park to huge slides good for teenagers. Amazing pools everywhere with lots of options. Swim up bar overlooking ocean. -food was incredible. The lower/mid range stuff was absolutely so great (room service, buffet and day time to go food. Honestly I will be thinking about the lunch time tacos for a long time). Upper end dinner restaurants were a bit more hit and miss but if you ordered right they were also great (ex get the fish instead of steak). Drinks everywhwre also incredible and tons of bars! -Service everywhere was 5 star. Everyone went out of their way to do everything possible to make it great for us. Let us check out 4 hours late without charging. Any minor issue was solved immediately and Consierge went above and beyond for us. Everyone so friendly and helpful -hotel was clean with a beautiful and unique design. -Overall incredible for kids! Going in I did think the secrets side would be more separated from kids side but it wasn't an issue at all and tons of families there and all guests were very nice and friendly to kids (and everyone said the Dreams side of restaurants/pools was actually more chill and less busy!) Cant think of much else but an absolutely great introduction to an all inclusive! Cant wait to go again

Had a really lovely time at Dreams Bahia Mita. Attended a wedding located on site, which was one of many during that week. The hotel is huge. Rooms were the largest I had ever been in. Don’t book if you have troubles walking, unless you’ve got a mobility scooter (which some guests did!) Food was so-so. Some of the meals were pretty good, while others tasted like they came straight from the microwave. Staff were SO kind! Everyone was polite and friendly. Beach was beautiful at sunset, but the waters were rough during our stay and there were some sharp rocks around the area. I did cut myself a couple times but nothing major. Just be careful. Looked like great surfing waves though. Gift/convenience shop on site is super expensive. Buy off site or bring extras of everything if you’re not looking to pay 4x regular price. Overall, we had nice time but would try a different hotel in the future.

This is a large family friendly resort with lots of pool options, from quiet to kid's aqua park. No issues finding pool loungers and the staff is attentive. Food options are good with a variety of restaurants that do not require reservations. The buffet restaurant is very good for breakfast. We stayed in the preferred club rooms and they are large with a nice sofa area and soaker tub on the deck. They have a nice outdoor fiesta couple times a week with live entertainment. We were here with younger grandchildren and they enjoyed the Explorers Club and aqua park. A small complain is that the nightly shows are past 9 pm too late for younger children. It would be nice to have a 7 pm and 9 pm show (much like a cruise) so more people can enjoy the shows. It's a premium priced resort similar cost to a 7 day balcony room cruise so the quality of the entertainment would be expected.
